WHAT IS POWDER COATING?
Powder coating is a dry finishing process that applies a durable, protective layer to metal surfaces. Electrostatically charged powder is sprayed onto the part and then cured in an oven, creating a hard finish that's tougher than conventional paint.

ADVANTAGES OF POWDER COATING
Powder coating delivers a high-quality, durable finish that outperforms traditional paint in protection, longevity, and environmental impact.
Extreme Durability
Resists chipping, scratching, fading, and corrosion far better than conventional liquid paint — built to last.
6,500+ Colours
An enormous range of colours, textures, and gloss levels — from matte black to high-gloss metallics and custom matches.
Cost Effective
A longer-lasting finish means fewer recoats and lower maintenance costs over the life of the part.
Eco-Friendly
No solvents used in the process — a cleaner finishing option compared to conventional liquid paint.
OUR PROCESS
A clear, structured approach from intake to completion — no guesswork, no surprises.
Assessment & Intake
We inspect your parts to evaluate condition, size, and coating requirements. Send photos ahead of time for a quick estimate.
Stripping, Masking & Application
Old coatings are stripped, critical areas are masked off, and electrostatically charged powder is applied evenly across all surfaces.
Curing & Inspection
Parts are oven-cured at the precise temperature required, then inspected for coverage, adhesion, and finish quality before release.

Turnaround time depends on the size and complexity of the project. Some jobs are done within a few days; larger or multi-piece jobs may take longer. Contact us with your project details and we'll give you a realistic timeline.
Pricing varies depending on the size of the part, surface prep required, and finish selected. Every job is quoted individually — reach out with photos or details and we'll get back to you with a price.
Any metal part that can withstand oven temperatures can be powder coated. Common items include wheels, frames, control arms, brackets, exhaust components, patio furniture, fencing, racks, and custom fabrication work. If you're unsure whether your part qualifies, send us a photo.
Yes — proper surface prep is essential. Old coatings, rust, and contaminants must be removed before powder coat is applied. We handle surface prep in house, and can also combine powder coating with dry ice blasting or vapour blasting for a complete prep-to-finish service.
Significantly more durable. Powder coating forms a hard, continuous film that resists chipping, scratching, fading, and corrosion far better than liquid paint. With proper prep and application, a powder coated finish can last many years even in harsh conditions.
It is possible in some cases, but not generally recommended without stripping the original coat first. Applying over existing powder coat can lead to adhesion issues and an uneven finish. We'll advise on the best approach based on the condition of the part.
