WHAT IS CERAMIC COATING?
Ceramic coating is a high-temperature protective finish applied to metal components exposed to extreme heat. It creates a thermal barrier that reduces heat transfer, prevents corrosion, and extends the life of exhaust and engine parts.
CERAMIC COATING OPTIONS
We work with multiple ceramic coating systems — each chosen for a specific application. Here's what we use and why.
Cerakote C Series
High-temp ceramic that air cures — no oven needed. Good for exhaust parts that are hard to batch cure.
High-Temp Oven Cure
A premium high-temp ceramic we apply under licence. Oven cured for maximum adhesion and durability on exhaust systems under sustained heat.
Cerakote H Series
Corrosion, chemical, wear, and impact resistance in one coating. The go-to for broad protection.
Cerakote Elite Series
H Series upgrade — thinner film, harder finish. For precision parts where tolerances are tight.

ADVANTAGES OF CERAMIC COATING
Ceramic coating provides extreme heat resistance and long-term protection for high-performance parts operating in demanding environments.
Extreme Heat Resistance
Withstands temperatures up to 2000°F, protecting exhaust manifolds, headers, and turbo components.
Corrosion Protection
Creates a sealed barrier against moisture, salt, and chemical exposure for long-term durability.
Improved Performance
Reduces under-hood heat soak, helping maintain cooler intake temps and more consistent power output.
OUR PROCESS
A clear, structured approach from intake to completion — no guesswork, no surprises.
Cleaning & Decontamination
Parts are degreased and carbon deposits are broken down and removed. Anything left behind compromises adhesion — we make sure the substrate is completely clean.
Dry Blasting & Profiling
Parts are dry blasted to create a consistent surface profile. This mechanical anchor is what allows the ceramic to bond properly under extreme heat.
Outgassing
A pre-bake cycle drives out trapped moisture and gases from the metal. This prevents blistering and pinholing in the final coating.
Ceramic Application & Cure
Ceramic coating is applied with controlled film thickness, then cured at the required temperature to fully bond the ceramic layer.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We have access to over 6,500 colours and finishes across our ceramic coating systems. Whether you're looking for a specific colour match, a matte black exhaust finish, or something in between — reach out and we'll help you find the right option.
Turnaround depends on the number of parts and the complexity of the job. Some single-part jobs can be turned around quickly; larger builds or full exhaust systems take more time. Contact us with your project details for an accurate timeline.
Pricing is based on part size, coating system used, and the level of prep required. Every job is quoted individually — send us photos or details and we'll get back to you with a price.
Air-cured coatings like Cerakote C Series cure at ambient temperature, making them practical for large or awkward parts that don't fit in an oven. Oven-cured coatings are baked at high temperature and generally offer superior adhesion and durability. We'll recommend the right system based on your application and heat exposure.
Our high-temp ceramic systems are rated for continuous exposure to extreme heat, making them suitable for exhaust manifolds, headers, turbo housings, and other components that see sustained high temperatures. Specific temperature ratings vary by product — ask us about the system we'd use for your application.
Yes — surface preparation is critical for adhesion. Parts must be clean, degreased, and properly prepped before any coating is applied. We handle all prep in house and can combine ceramic coating with dry ice blasting or vapour blasting for a thorough clean before the coating goes on.
Ceramic coatings bond well to most metals including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminium. The key requirement is proper surface prep. If you're unsure whether your part is a good candidate, send us photos and we can advise.
